The Khetri Trust aims to promote education, through the advancement of the study of science, literature and the arts, by the grant of scholarships to deserving youth. These scholarships are provided to encourage youth to gain access to quality education eventually leading to better career opportunities and taking up meaningful role in nation building. However, the prevailing milieu in the country is such that only school or college education is not enough to ensure a good career. The education system is majorly to blame, for not being able to provide vocation based education at under-graduate level. There are myriad counseling and coaching centers which provide the academic wherewithal to prospective candidates to enable them to qualify in various selection examinations. Woefully though, these centers are fairly expensive hence many deserving students are deprived of the advantages the centers offer in qualifying for selection.
